Rethos Labs Pvt. Ltd. ("Rethos", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in Karnataka, India. We provide rental trust infrastructure services at rethos.in.

We collect only the minimum data required to provide our services. This includes identity data (Aadhaar number, PAN, mobile number), rental payment records, and financial data shared through Account Aggregator with your explicit consent. We do not collect your Aadhaar biometrics, only the eKYC token issued by UIDAI.

Your data is used to verify your identity, check employment or education enrollment, match tenants to vacant housing options, and process rent payments with your explicit consent.

We do not share your personal or financial data with third parties without your explicit, purpose-limited, time-bound consent. Data sharing with prospective housing operators is limited strictly to the information you choose to include on your portable rental profile.

We retain your data as long as your Rethos account is active, and for a period of 7 years after account closure as required by applicable financial services regulations. You may request deletion of non-mandatory data at any time.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, erase your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@rethos.in.
